FSi Strategies started its journey 19 years ago on the idea of harnessing the business value of technology. Since then, the company has been helping businesses leverage the strategic value of technology to succeed and grow. In 2015, FSi Strategies decided to strategically align its services with Microsoft to serve clients better.

“When Satya Nadella took over as CEO of Microsoft, I was fortunate to listen to his speeches and research on his strategic initiatives,” says Redha Morsli, the president and CEO of FSi Strategies. “We understood his vision for a “Mobile First, Cloud First” company, and we quickly realized that it was highly compatible with the strategic vision that we have for our own clients.”

The following years witnessed FSi Strategies embarking on its own intelligent cloud journey by restructuring and aligning its approach to become Microsoft Cloud Experts.

Today, with over 150 active Microsoft certifications, eight Gold competencies, including cloud productivity, cloud platform, security, communications, and collaboration, and four Silver competencies including application development, application integration, and data platform, and one Advanced Specialization in Azure Virtual Desktop. FSi Strategies exhibits top-notch technical capabilities in deploying, optimizing, managing, and securing solutions within the Microsoft cloud stack. They are also a Managed Microsoft Partner and participate in several critical Microsoft programs, including Microsoft Tech for Social Impact (TSI), Microsoft Technology Adoption Program (TAP), and Azure Migration & Modernization Program (AMMP).

FSi Strategies focuses on two key areas of practice: managed service and professional services. While through Managed Services, FSi Strategies looks at the entire technology spectrum, from user support to system management and strategic planning, its professional services tend to focus on designing specific solutions to address a client’s specific needs.

All of FSi Strategies’ services are anchored in Microsoft cloud. The company leverages M365 to create modern workplace solutions that help clients improve collaboration, productivity, and security. They utilize Azure to modernize and secure clients’ infrastructure across the hybrid cloud and leverage Power Automate, AI, and talented developers to transform business applications to solve complex business and operational challenges. “Our approach is straightforward.

For example, FSi Strategies helped a large and renowned restaurant group that was facing productivity challenges. The company assisted the client in utilizing the Microsoft cloud to streamline their workflows and save time. After a discovery analysis, FSi Strategies developed a logic app that leveraged open APIs from multiple platforms automating the process of getting critical reservation and patron data from one system to another. This helped the client save approximately 15 minutes each hour for each restaurant and the tedious task of exporting and importing data.

FSi Strategies has helped several clients modernize their infrastructure across the hybrid cloud and streamline operations. A particular example of this is a global nonprofit who acquired nine large affiliates around the U.S. Along with these mergers and acquisitions came the growing challenge of having to manage different technology environments, particularly from a security and compliance perspective. FSi Strategies helped them leverage Microsoft technology to consolidate these different environments and modernize their infrastructure. Ultimately this gave them the ability to simply management while still maintaining operational and governance independence at the affiliate level.

Over the last 19 years, FSi Strategies has been helping many such companies. From productivity to data intelligence, security, and infrastructure, the company holds power to transform and modernize its clients’ organizations and prepare them for the new era of work.

To up its ante in the Microsoft space, FSi Strategies has become an active participant in the Microsoft community, frequently attending events like Ignites, Build, and Envision. The company also has Microsoft-certified trainers as well as a large training facility on-site at the Tyson Corner, VA office.
