It was in his early career at a leading company, when Dwight Nishida, President, HPSI, realized that there were very few IT solution providers that were able to successfully execute a network implementation. Establishing High Performance Systems Inc (HPSI) in 1993, part of his vision was to help organizations deal with the various implementation and post-support issues. Nowadays, discussions also include how the cloud fits into their business model. “Some business can easily transition to the cloud, but some need to keep lot of data on premises and the cloud is not a perfect fit for them. We help organizations understand this and provide them solutions that fit into their business,” says Nishida.

Headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii, HPSI is a systems integrator with an IT consulting practice that helps organizations investigate new technical solutions to solve business problems, support users, along with maintaining the back-end systems. “We implement new technologies that are consistent and repeatable in part by following the best-practice guidelines provided to us by Microsoft and other vendors we represent in the channel,” says Nishida.

HPSI is Microsoft’s only Hawaii certified vendor with competencies across Exchange Server, Lync, SharePoint, SQL Server, Windows and Dynamics CRM and SL. “We are also recognized with distinction in Microsoft Cloud Computing with focus on Azure and Office 365,” says Nishida.

HPSI finds traction in a vast array of sectors, such as construction, distribution, education, finance, real estate, government and non-profit organizations to Fortune 200 companies. For instance, a leading real estate holding company was facing problems in their financial reporting system, which in turn was resulting in time consumption. After contacting HPSI, the ERP team implemented a Microsoft Dynamics SL solution, re-designed the chart of accounts, and added additional internal controls that improved the accounting workflow process. The system, which used to take 2 weeks and 14 people to perform the operation, currently takes 3 days, with 2 people to do the same work. HPSI also implemented Dynamics CRM Online that helped the sales team to overcome manual process and problems with the follow up issues they had with prospects and customer.

Moving forward, HPSI wants to help clients execute their business bigger, better, and faster. “We are very fortunate of the clients we have, and the prospects we are talking to.
